Five IIMs conduct an aptitude test namely Integrated Program in Management Aptitude Test (IPMAT) for students seeking admission in their 5-year Integrated Programme in Management. It is a dual-degree program that includes both BBA-MBA of the respective IIM.
IIMs conduct their IPMAT like IIM Indore and IIM Rothak conduct their IPMAT. IIM Bodh Gaya and Jammu together regulate the JIPMAT examination, and IIM Ranchi accepts both the IPMAT Indore exam scores and SAT scores. Moreover, the respective colleges offer a 3-year exit point which means the student can quit with the 3-year degree in hand.
Students can take different IPMATs: IPMAT Indore, IPMAT Rothak, and JIPMAT.
Why IPM?
Students considering options other than medical, law, engineering, etc. can choose the IPM. This holistic course offers student’s opportunity to grab an IIM degree right after completing the 12th standard. Students have a very promising career once they complete their IPM course.
IPMAT ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA 2024
All the IIM set certain eligibility criteria so that only capable and cream students get into the integrated management program. Students appearing for IPMAT should fulfill all the eligibility criteria that include age, qualifying exam, and minimum marks scored.

QUALIFYING EXAM and MINIMUM MARKS
The eligibility criteria which include a qualifying exam and minimum marks are the same for all the IIMs conducting IPMAT.
Qualifying Exam: Candidates should have cleared standard 12th or equivalent exam or appearing for class 12th are eligible.
Minimum Marks: Students from the general category should have scored a minimum of 60% and 55% in their 10+2 or equivalent exam.

The application forms of IPMAT 2024 exam are available on the official website of IIM Indore. The application window for IPMAT 2024 opened on March.2024. The IPMAT application involves three steps: Registration, Application, and Counselling.

How to apply for IPMAT 2024?
Here are the steps to be followed when applying to IPMAT 2024:

- Register yourself by filling in your details such as your name, date of birth, mobile number, and email ID.
- Applicants receive an email stating their credentials: User ID and Password.
- Using the credentials, the applicant should log into the official website and fill out the application form with correct information such as name, date of birth, nationality, personal details, qualification details, contact details, etc.
- Upload the requisite documents such as the applicant’s signature, photograph, address proof, qualifying exam certificates, etc. The candidate from the reserved category should upload the attested category certificate.

IMPORTANT POINTS TO CONSIDER FOR IPMAT EXAM
- Candidates studying in X or XII standard from schools affiliated to foreign boards like IGCSE (International General Certificate for Secondary Education) and IB (International Baccalaureate) can also apply for the IPMAT exam.
- Candidate should be able to produce SSC and HSC or equivalent mark sheets along with a school leaving certificate during the counseling process or else the provisional admission offer stands canceled.
- Applicant should not be more than 20 years in age. But if the applicant is from SC, ST, or PwD categories then they could be 22 years old.
- Irrespective of the board’s regulation, the percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in their X and XII standards are calculated on the aggregate marks of all the subjects as mentioned in the mark sheet.
- Even if the board awards grades instead of percentages, the percentage is calculated according to the procedure certified by the Board.
- The IIMs reserve the right to decide, in case of intakes, equivalence, percentage, the recognition of the qualifying exam, etc.
