MHCET Exam Syllabus
MHCET MBA exam comprises 4 sections:
- Logical Reasoning
- Abstract Reasoning
- Quantitative Ability
- Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension.
Read ahead to know the syllabus. Though the syllabus mentioned is not exhaustive but a majority of questions can be attempted after referring to it.
LOGICAL AND ABSTRACT REASONING
Puzzles, Coding/Decoding, Symbol based questions, Directions, Direction Sense, Linear and Circular Arrangement, Blood Relations, Series Completion, Sequential Output, Venn and Network diagram, Syllogism, Conditional Coding, Figure-Based Statement, Fact-Inference, Analogy, Set Theory, Series Completion, Binary Logic, Set theory, Passage Conclusion.
QUANTITATIVE ABILITY (QA)
Usually, the topics asked in the quantitative ability section are from 9th and 10th Mathematics books. It’s just that 2 more sub-sections are included under this section: Data Interpretation and Data Sufficiency. Check out the below-mentioned topics:

MHCET Section-Wise Breakup
MHCET management test offers an individual weightage for each section. Each question carries one mark. In order to strategize the preparation of MHCET, candidates should understand the weightage and the total marks allotted to each section.
Exam Eligibility
When applying for MHCET exam, do check the eligibility criteria for the same:
- Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institute can apply for the test. Candidates in their pre-final or final year can also apply for the test.
- Candidates from the general category should have a minimum score of 50% in graduation.
- Candidates from the reserved category should have a minimum score of 45% in graduation.
- Candidate can re-attempt the test once in 12 months.
- Whether a fresher or working professional, anyone can apply for the MHCET test.
- Candidates not coming from English medium schools can also apply for the MHCET exam.
- Candidates attempting other entrance examinations such as CAT/GMAT/CMAT/MAT/XAT/ATMAÂ can also apply for All India Seats (only if eligible). They just need to fill out an online application form according to the schedule.

In the group of 400 MBA institutions, MBA schools accepting MH CET Exam scores rank top on the All India Ranking status such as JBIMS, SIMSREE, WeSchool, XIMR etc
As per guidelines by MHT CET a candidate must have passed the 12th grade or an exam of both Engineering and Pharmacy courses. There is no upper age limit to apply for MHT CET 2023.
MHT-CET syllabus includes both Class 11 & Class 12 topics of the Maharashtra State Board. The subjects are Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology & are taken in groups. Group 1 comprises Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics & Group 2 comprises Physics, Chemistry, Biology
The MHT- CET is an online examination (computer-based). The duration of the exam is 180 minutes (90 minutes for each subject).
