Integrated Program Management (IPM) is divided into two parts; first is foundation course whereas the second part focuses on management. The program consists of 15 terms stretched over a period of 5 years. Syllabus for each year is bifurcated into 3 terms, each of 3 months duration.

Getting into IIM is a dream of each management aspirant but the level of competition in CAT (Common Admission Test) exam is quite tough. What if you get a chance to get into IIM right after completing your 12?
A goal fulfilled! Right?
Yes, there are IIMs which offer 5-year Integrated Program in Management (IPM).
The five year integrated MBA or BBA MBA integrated course is an exhaustive management program offered by various colleges to prepare student for managerial job profiles after class 12. It is a compound course of management studies heading from 3 years undergraduate level to 2 years of postgraduate level.
Integrated MBA not only strengthens the managerial skills but also inculcates proficiency in the desired field. Student should pass the 10+2 examination from any stream in order to pursue integrated MBA Course.
Exam Eligibility
Students will have to appear for the entrance exam first which test’s the student’s aptitude, logical reasoning and proficiency in English and Maths.
Later, shortlisted students with good score, appear for Written Ability Test (WAT) followed by personal interview.
Students those who clear all the rounds are called for document verification.
Some colleges do consider 10+2 with a minimum 60% exam score & 55% for SC/ST/PwD Category and render direct admission to their integrated MBA course. However, it is advisable to check the official website of the college to know the detailed selection process as it may vary from college to college.

Top IPM Colleges
Below is the list of institutes which offer the Integrated Program in Management (IPM):
- IIM Indore
IIM Indore’s 5-year integrated program has been accredited by the Association of MBA’s London (4th and 5th year) and it accepts Integrated Programme in Management Aptitude Test (IPMAT)-Indore score.
Sanctioned student intake for a domestic aspirant Is 150.
Students from General category should have minimum percentage of 60% in their 10+2 whereas students from SC/ST/PWD category should have percentage of 55%.
- IIM Rohtak
IIM Rohtak had introduced its IPM course in the year 2019. It accepts IPMAT- Rohtak score. Once the student completes the rigorous 5 years, they are awarded with MBA by IIM Rohtak whereas if they intend to exit the program at the end of 3 years, they are awarded with the degree of Bachelors of Business Management (BBA).
Student intake into the program is 160 (including reservations).
- IIM Bodh Gaya
IIM Bodh Gaya will launch its 5-year integrated program in the year 2021. It will accept IPMAT Bodh Gaya score.
Available seats 50 and additional supernumerary seats for female candidates and the reservations would be applicable as per Government of India regulations.
Student should have a score of 60% in class 10th and 12th whereas students from SC/ST/PWD should have a score of 55%.
- IIM Ranchi
IIM Ranchi would offer the 5 year integrated program from the year 2021 and would accept SAT/ IPMAT 2021 (IIM Indore) exam score to admit students for the course.
Students should have passed the 10th and 12th standard (or equivalent) with 60% or more marks (55% for students from SC/ST/PwD).
120 students with highest combined scores will be offered admission to the program.
- IIM Jammu
IIM Jammu launched the integrated program in the year 2021 and the first batch of IPM course will have intake of 60. The students will be selected on the basis of Joint Integrated Program in Management Admission Test (JIPMAT).
Student should have minimum score of 60% in 10th and 12th standard whereas 55% for students from SC/ST/PWD category.
Apart from IIM’s other prestigious institute offering IPM course:
- Nirma University, Ahmedabad
It is one of the esteemed B-schools in India offering BBA-MBA a 5-year integrated program and is the only other college accepting IPMAT- Indore score after IIM Indore.
Once, the student completes the 5-year integrated program, they are awarded with “Bachelors in Business Administration- Master of Business Administration” degree.
For All India Category: students should have a score of minimum 60% in class 12.
For Gujarat Category: Student should have passed the class 12th examination or any other equivalent examination recognized by Nirma University from schools located within Gujarat with minimum 90% aggregate marks at first attempt.
Total available seats for the program are 216 (excluding supernumerary).
